Many of our Tribal Nations are located in rural areas that lack vital legal resources. Should courts shift their practices to accommodate this reality?

Hon. Anne McKeig — Minnesota Supreme Court — Justice McKeig (White Earth Nation descendant) is an Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court and a trailblazing figure in American law. Appointed in 2016, she is the first Indigenous Person to serve on Minnesota's highest court and the first Native woman to serve on any state supreme court in the United States.
