To recognize the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, exhibits across our campus are reflecting on our democratic experiment, what it means to be an American, and what future world we want to build together. To explore these collections, we have put together a U.S. at 250 Scavenger Hunt!

This scavenger hunt includes just a few stops around campus and should take no more than an hour to complete in total (unless you get lost in the wonders of the collections!).

To get started, read the clue below and head to the U.S. at 250 exhibit on campus that it describes. At the end of your journey on the U.S. at 250 Scavenger Hunt, you'll meet a friendly squirrel to help guide you in future adventures (while squirrel friends last!).

Clue #1

Seek the museum on campus housing the ancient world — where classical foundations shaped the nation's founders. The first clue waits, guarded by George Washington, among the classical world's remains.
